3. Baker Hughes provides the worldwide oil and natural gas industry products.. It has automated its drilling, formation evaluation, completion and production through the website developed in J2EE having the database in Oracle 10g and in the operating environment of Sun Solaris with BroadVision Server. The web application can be used by the service Engineer to maintain the oil wells across the globe from any convenient place. The service provided by the engineers are transferred to a separate server called E-Link which runs a C – program to control the hardware.
